its a PVP server...but...when you doing PVP will see
spend a lot of hours on this server.....but when it goes to pvp ...the admin strikes back !!!
dont forget that Dario and otto...
and all becouse we wiped out
he shares his acc with his 11 year old son...omg lol
we kill him 3 or 4 times......and next day our base was gone...bun no chance to buy a new flag

Hello, Thanks for the comments.

I've not went near your base or any other, infact I've hardly been on at all. The only way your base could have been deleted is if you didn't pay rent (again), or someone got your flag and you didn't pay ransom.
I really appreciate the time you have invested however unfortunately for you, as I am the only contributor to this server financially, the owner of the tin it sits on, lease holder of the rack space and only one of two Admins (the other is my brother) the chances of this being a "good server...with new admin...." is fairly none existant. I've actually not gave admin to anyone in fear of the admin abuse you accuse me of. I want this server full.

I was unaware of the drama you mention above however this explains why the regular players you mention have not been online over the last two days.

Not to worry though last time I counted there was over 2000 Arma 3 servers that I am not the admin, you may have more joy on one of those.

I could have sworn I'd picked up an AA launcher and ammo from from it since then.  Still put an AI squad to guard it and also the larger military bases if there will be no zombies. You dont want it to be too easy to get do you :-)

You were right, I thought I had removed the explosives. I have now.

If they are removed we would need an AI squad protecting a certain lorry fully of rockets otherwise it'll be to easy to get them.
I removed the rockets from said truck when I added AA and AT to the patrols..

Its been discussed a few times in game about removing the Zombie MOD, is this something everyone is happy with - could it be that it could be replaced with something else that compliments the military/survival aspect of the game - IMO the Zeds are bloody annoying - might even attract some players who don't like the old Dayz Zombies.

Any thoughts?
I agree, I don't think they add much and the codebase is old and buggy.

Hey Dario!

each NPC patrol unit has a 30% chance of spawning with either AT or AA. I've reduced this to 20% to see if that helps.

It was put in because the Marshall was well over-powered.
I had two options.
  • include anti-tank
  • remove Marshall

I picked number 1

yes, however I'd need to move it from the fuel station to something else or you'd get charged to rearm and repair even if all you wanted was to refuel (if u had the cash).
i.e. charged to rearm and repair the quad you spawn as temporary transport when all it needs is fuel.

another issue with the same script is that the notification and systemchat is global, broadcasting to the full server.

I'm thinking about event nights once a month or sometng like that.

First idea is a manhunt.
one person is selected at random, given $$$$$ and told to get to a location to drop it off.
While the manhunt is active a marker will show the hunted's location on the map every x amount of mins.
If the player gets to the location he gets 2x the amount of money he carried.
If he is caught then whoever recovers the body gets the cash.

Second idea is a good old fasioned race: Malden Rally!
First round the map wins,  can repair and refuel with duct tape and at fuelstaions.
You must finish the race in the car you started in (will be provided).

Both events will be held on a fully open BAU server, just to mix it up alittle.

agreed with all of the above. I dont want to add them to the traders but will add AT and AA to the NPC's.

note you can get rockets n things that go bang in the tempest that spawns on the military island.
